What's included

Cookers and hobs, installed safely.

Supplied by you, fitted by us — connected, tested and checked by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Gas Safe registered installation

Gas cookers and hobs should only be installed or altered by a Gas Safe registered engineer with the right appliance category.

Correct connection method

We check the connection method is right for your appliance and your existing gas point.

Tightness & safe operation

Every installation includes tightness testing and safe operation checks before we leave.

Ventilation & clearances

We check the installation position against the appliance instructions.

Old appliance removal

Tell us if the old appliance needs disconnecting and we'll handle it on the visit.

Records and invoice

We provide clear records and an invoice for the work completed.

Before we arrive

What helps the installation go smoothly.

Checking your appliance dimensions, cooker hood clearance (hot zone), and having the right gas supply point ready ensures we can complete the installation in a single visit.

Appliance Make & Model

Have the manufacturer handbook or model number handy so we can verify connection type, heat output, and flue requirements.

Access to Gas Supply & Meter

Ensure the cooker bay, emergency shut-off valve, and your gas meter are clear and accessible for mandatory soundness testing.

Correct Worktop Cut-Out

For built-in gas hobs, check that the worktop opening dimensions match your new appliance before the engineer arrives.

Clearances & Hot Zone

Ensure there are no combustible materials, sockets, or wallpaper directly behind the hob within the required safety clearance zone.

Electrical Supply for Ignition

If your gas cooker or hob features automatic spark ignition or an oven light, ensure a standard 13A socket or spur is nearby.

Old Appliance Disconnection

Let us know in advance if your old cooker or hob needs safe disconnection, gas capping, and removal from the bay.

How it works

Booked, fitted, checked.

Share appliance details & photos

Send us the make, model, and a quick photo of your existing gas bayonet or isolation valve so we can confirm fitting requirements in advance.

Fixed upfront quote & safety check

We confirm our fixed installation price (£120 straight swap or £150 with up to 1m pipework) before booking your narrow convenient AM/PM slot with arrival notice.

Gas tightness test & digital certificate

We connect the appliance with a new micropoint hose or rigid copper, run a full gas tightness test, check burner flames, and issue your Gas Safe compliance certificate on the spot.

Gas appliances must be fitted by a Gas Safe registered engineer
